MediNav is seeking a motivated Medical Data Curator from Italy to review and refine transcriptions produced by our AI assistant. This role focuses on ensuring medical accuracy and terminology, with remote work flexibility and occasional travel within Italy.

You will collaborate with doctors and IT specialists, set up customer templates in Italian, and provide user feedback to improve the system. Ideal for a medical student or resident embracing medtech.

Internship Medical Data Curator - Part-Time / Full - Time

MediNav is an innovative medtech company building a digital medical assistant that reduces admin time for doctors with 70%. MediNav listens to doctors speak, understands, transcribes, extracts and pre-fills medical forms. Right now we’re offering our assistant to hospitals and clinics in Romania and we’re looking to expand into new European markets.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated medical student or resident doctor from Italy to join our dynamic team as a Medical Data Curator. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of medical transcriptions produced by our digital assistant. Your primary responsibility will be to review, curate, and manually correct transcribed medical texts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of medical accuracy and terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed review and manual correction of transcribed medical texts.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of medical terminology and data.
• Provide feedback to improve the effectiveness of our AI-driven transcription tools.
• Collaborate with our technical team to refine transcription algorithms.
• Handle the user-onboarding process.
• Setup templates for our customers in Italian and collaborate with doctors / IT specialists from the customer side.
• Collect feedback regarding the usage of our product from users in Italy.

Qualifications:

• Currently in a terminal year of medical studies or undergoing residency in Italy.
• Strong foundation in medical terminology and concepts.
• Keen interest in medtech and digital health innovations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for healthcare technology.
• Excellent command of English and Italian; proficiency in Spanish, or Romanian is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• You are outgoing, you like talking to people and you don’t have a problem picking up the phone and calling doctors to make sure they have a good experience using the product.
• You are willing to go on business trips, on occasion, within Italy, to visit customer sites and onboard new users, and collect feedback.
