ABB Distribution Solutions Division is seeking an Inventory Planner to lead end-to-end inventory planning on site in Lombardy. You will define policies, set parameters, and ensure replenishment through purchase orders while supporting internal customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations buyers, optimizing supplier performance, and maintaining key inventory metrics. Fluent Italian and English are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in Management/Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with inventory planning and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and proactive mindset.

You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.The work model for the role is: on site.This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions Division.You will be mainly accountable for:Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility.Qualifications for the roleEducation: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Technical Skills: proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Knowledge of SAP is significant plus.Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.Soft Skills: A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.More about usJoin us.
