Pirelli in Milano invites you to join the European Manufacturing team as an internship, where under the guidance of your tutor you will take on increasing responsibilities, develop autonomy, and gain insights into strategic decision-making in a fast-evolving industry.

You will collaborate on consolidating factories KPIs, defining action plans to improve efficiency, and designing process improvement projects across HQ, region and factory levels while applying Lean tools and standard procedures.

Competenze

• Master's degree in industrial or management engineering required.
• Fluent in English and Italian; strong communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of programming tools (R, Python) and front-end.

Mansioni

• Consolidate factories KPIs and share performance reports at WW level.
• Define action plans to improve factories efficiency.
• Interact with HQ, region and factory levels to design process improvements.
• Ensure standard Lean methodologies and SOPs are applied across factories.
• Assist in developing improvement programs (Kaizen, 5S, benchmarking).

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will collaborate with your tutor in:

• Consolidate factories KPIs and share performance reports in WW level.
• Define action plans in order to improve factories efficiency.
• Interact with other functions in HQ, region and factory levels to design process improvement projects.
• Ensure methodology standardization used by all factories, such as Kaizen Event, Value Stream Mapping, OEE, Standard Minutes, Six sigma, A3 Problem Solving, DEMAIC, PKE, Standard operational Procedure, Pirelli Operating Steering System; Idea System, Project Capitano, Standard work and others.
• Assist in developing the improvement programs, such as Kaizen programs, benchmarking, 5S and others.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master's degree in industrial or management engineering

• Understanding of basics Lean Manufacturing
