STMicroelectronics Italia is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop software for ST components, leveraging GenAI tools to boost productivity and code quality.

You will design, implement, and validate low-level drivers in C for STM32 and use GenAI tools as development assistants to accelerate coding while ensuring compliance with standards. Strong debugging and version control skills are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree ongoing in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or similar.
• Experience in embedded software development, preferably in C.
• Good knowledge of microcontrollers, peripheral drivers, and low-level software design.
• Hands-on experience with STMicroelectronics devices is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Copilot, other GenAI tool is a plus.
• Understanding of debugging tools, version control, and embedded development environments.
• Ability to review and validate generated code critically.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English technical proficiency.
