STMicroelectronics Italia is seeking a candidate to develop simulation-oriented models for our factories using AnyLogic. You will transform complex processes into dynamic decision-support models, working with the Fab Modelizzation & Simulation team.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in engineering or CS, knowledge of process simulation and OR, and proficiency in Java and Python. Candidates with data analysis skills are encouraged to apply.

• Master’s degree completed or nearing completion; final-year students welcome.
• Academic background in Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Knowledge of Process Simulation fundamentals and Operations Research.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.

YOUR ROLE

You will actively participate in the development of simulation-oriented models for our factories. Working closely with our Fab Modelizzation & Simulation team, you will use the Anylogic tool to transform complex processes into dynamic, decision-support models.

• Develop and implement factory simulation models within the Anylogic environment.
• Support the analysis of production data to feed and validate models.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize processes based on simulated scenarios.
• Document the technical logic of developed simulations.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Master’s degree completed or nearing completion (final-year students are welcome).
• Academic background in Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Knowledge of Process Simulation fundamentals and Operations Research.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
