Job summary

PIRELLI & C. S.p.A. invites applications for an Internship Digital Project Manager - Sustainability Solutions. You will join the Architecture, Innovation, and Sustainability Team within the Digital Headquarters to support ESG digital initiatives and transformation.

You will collect stakeholder input, monitor progress, perform basic analyses in Excel, and help manage sustainability platforms, gaining exposure to global projects and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated with a master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with SaaS/cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collect input from stakeholders and translate into meeting notes and action lists.
• Update trackers and prepare short status updates and materials.
• Perform basic Excel analyses for ESG reporting and project monitoring.
• Support day‑to‑day management of sustainability digital platforms.

We are seeking a talented and passionate Digital Project Manager to join our Architecture, Innovation, and Sustainability Team within the Digital Headquarters. In this role, you will play an important role in supporting our Sustainability and ESG digital journey, ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects that contribute to our sustainability objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive innovation and foster sustainable practices throughout our digital initiatives.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

• Support the team in collecting input from Sustainability, IT and business stakeholders and turning them into clear meeting notes, action lists and basic requirement summaries.
• Help monitor project progress by updating trackers (tasks, deadlines, issues/risks) and preparing short status updates and materials (slides/minutes).
• Perform basic Excel analyses to support ESG reporting and project monitoring (data checks, reconciliations, pivots, simple trend analysis).
• Support the day-to-day management of sustainability digital platforms (data uploads/checks, user support, access requests, basic troubleshooting, …).
• Conduct desk research on sustainability/ESG topics, regulations and digital trends, and summarize key insights in a clear and structured way.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a master’s degree in engineering (e.g., Management/Industrial/Environmental), Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics, Sustainability Management, Statistics.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• Solid Excel skills (data checks, pivot tables, basic charts) and PowerPoint skills.
• Curious about digital tools and SaaS/cloud platforms; basic understanding of data flows/integrations (no deep technical background required).

• Proven project management skills and practice (knowledge of traditional and agile methodologies)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into architectural designs and solution requirements. Also, ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
