Deutsche Bank AG in Milan is offering a 6‑month internship in the Corporate Advisory team. You will support day‑to‑day pitching and transaction execution, drafting marketing materials and financial models, and join deal teams for client meetings. A strong finance background and bilingual English/Italian skills are required.

Start date 1 February 2027; monthly expense allowance and meal vouchers are provided. This internship provides exposure to mid-market M&A transactions across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, or a nearly completed Master’s in Finance.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Italian; PC literate.
• Highly motivated, pro-active team worker.
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity and ensure responsible data use.

The intern will support day-to-day pitching efforts and transaction execution activities; main tasks will include, but not be limited to, providing support in drafting (i) marketing materials (company profiles, market analyses, pitchbooks, etc.), (ii) financial models and (iii) other transaction related materials.

Learning Objectives

• Support the execution of a continuously growing deal flow among challenging and exciting projects in different industries.
• Build skills in creating and running financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.) and other valuation materials.
• Conduct market analysis to run operational benchmarking and prepare related documentation to best position companies within their sale process.
• Support the team in all relevant duties related to the due diligence phase.
• Join deal team during client meetings both for marketing and execution purposes.

Requirements

• Excellent academic track-record with international experience: either a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or similar, or a nearly completed master’s in Finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Italian) being PC literate.
• Highly motivated and pro-active team worker.
• Proven ability to leverage on AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills with solid finance and accounting background would complete the profile.
