Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Logistics Specialist in Lombardy to plan purchases, issue PO's, and coordinate with APAC suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. You will manage inbound shipments, liaise with freight forwarders and customs, and monitor supplier performance, providing proactive problem-solving to maintain business continuity.

Fluency in Italian and good English, 2–5 years in an international supply chain role, and strong Excel skills are essential.

Competenze

• 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, logistics, or a similar supply chain role within an international environment.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly across the APAC region.
• Familiarity with international transportation and customs processes.
• Fluent in Italian; good command of written and spoken English.

Mansioni

• Plan purchasing activities and issue purchase orders to support production and business needs.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, purchasing teams, and manufacturing plants to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on deliveries.
• Proactively manage delays and urgent situations.
• Manage inbound shipments, particularly from APAC suppliers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance with import/export and logistics processes.
• Support business continuity through proactive problem-solving and effective supplier management.
• Report to the relevant department manager.
