Job Description Summary:
As an Internal Communications Intern, you will support the Internal Communications team in delivering effective communications across the business, helping to ensure employees stay informed, connected and engaged. This role offers hands‑on experience across internal communications, digital channels, employee engagement initiatives and company‑wide events within an international business environment.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will support a range of communication activities, including content delivery, internal campaigns and engagement initiatives across multiple channels.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine interest in internal communications.
Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and evaluation of internal communication campaigns across the business, using agreed KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Support content delivery across internal communication channels, including newsletters, Viva Engage (internal social channel), the intranet and company‑wide calls.
- Maintain and update the company intranet to ensure content is accurate, engaging and aligned with internal communication priorities.
- Deliver a quarterly internal communications dashboard, tracking engagement metrics and supporting analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the coordination and delivery of the company‑wide Winter Summit event and annual volunteering programme, including planning, logistics and stakeholder coordination.
- Support the delivery of monthly and annual employee awards initiatives.
- Maintain and update digital tools used to manage the company‑wide events calendar.
- Support employee engagement on Viva Engage, including enabling colleagues to share updates and improving overall platform engagement.
- Work with external agencies to support the creation of communication materials and graphics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure clear, consistent and timely communication delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent attention to detail and an interest in developing copywriting skills.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and teams across the organisation.
- Able to provide clear communication support and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Effective team player with a problem‑solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Strong interest in internal communications and employee engagement.
- Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with Viva Engage and Canva.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement data and identify trends.
- Proactive, curious and eager to learn and take on a challenge.

Internship allowance:
€800 net per month + €8 daily meal vouchers
