Job summary

Hines Italy is seeking a motivated intern to join Asset Management in Milan, supporting senior team members across a range of activities. You will update financial models, perform analyses, assist leasing and sale processes, and prepare investment memos for governance bodies.

You will liaise with investors and advisors, participate in due diligence, and support the project management team on technical activities, gaining real-world real estate experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate.
• Completed or near completion of exams and preparing the final dissertation.
• Excellent command of English (written).
• Strong analytical skills and quantitative mindset.
• Proactive and autonomous with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong interest in real estate sector with willingness to learn.
• Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Hines Italy’s Asset Management in Milan who would support senior team members on wide range of activities. The successful candidate will:

• Update financial models with actuals and forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis and sensitivities on the models, comparing returns outcome
• Support on the asset management activities, including leasing and sale processes
• Provide financial and qualitative analysis and prepare investment memos for Board Approvals
• Draft documents and presentations for internal/external use and governance bodies
• Liaise with third parties as investors, lenders, brokers, tenants and legal/tax advisors
• Join commercial due diligence activities including market analysis and lease reviews
• Support the project management team on the technical activities

Qualifications

To be considered for the role, you will have:

• Studied or are studying towards a degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate
• Preferred candidate has already completed all the exams (or close to) and is the process of preparing the final dissertation
• Excellent command of English (particularly written)
• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• No prior real estate experience is required, however a strong interest in the field and willingness to learn are fundamental
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong passion for real estate sector
• Fluent English
• Analytical mindset
• Proactive and autonomous approach
• Able to manage different tasks under pressure
• Understand the mechanics of the Italian real estate market and the entire asset management process
