Overview

Interim Business Finance Analyst – 12-Month Contract

A leading multinational in the transport systems sector is looking for an Interim Business Finance Analyst to support transformation and performance improvement projects across Europe and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-business transformation projects, focusing on improving field performance.
• Provide strategic analyses and decision-making materials, including high-level presentations for senior leadership.
• Translate complex operational and business data into clear, actionable insights.
• Monitor key business and operational metrics across Europe and Africa, identifying trends and implications.
• Contribute to the development and tracking of transformation roadmaps and change initiatives.
• Work closely with Finance on project costs, budgets, financial targets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with field leaders to ensure accurate data foundations.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and strategic discussions.
• Ensure efficient governance, reporting, and transparency of transformation results.

Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
• 4+ years of professional experience, ideally in finance, transformation office, consulting, or within multinational / matrix organizations.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including modeling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Proficiency with large datasets and ability to generate actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Proactive, resilient, and collaborative team player.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
