A luxury fashion brand is seeking an experienced IP Manager to oversee global trademark management and coordinate IP litigations. The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years of experience in IP matters, ideally within the luxury or fashion industry, and be fluent in Italian and English. Responsibilities include advising on IP risks and developing enforcement strategies.

Competenze

• At least 6 to 10 years’ experience in IP matters with a focus on trademarks.
• Previous experience in a top legal firm or in-house at an international company.
• Background in luxury or fashion field is a plus.
• Knowledge of drafting contracts for talents and co-branding projects is welcomed.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and protect the global trademark and domain name portfolio;
• Manage and coordinate IP litigations, specifically on trademarks, patents, designs;
• Work across the business advising the design, product & merchandising, retail and advertising teams on IP content & issues;
• Advise the business on the IP landscape and the risks to both existing business and new business initiatives, particularly in the field of trademarks and copyrights;
• Actively advise and work on effective policing / enforcement programs and brand protection strategies.

Profile

• At least 6 to 10 years’ experience on IP matters with focus on trademark;
• Previous experience in a top legal firm on IP matters or in-house international company. Background in luxury or fashion field will be considered a plus.
• Proficient spoken and written Italian and English are key to cover the role; French knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in drafting contracts for talents, ambassadors, licenses, co-branding projects is also welcomed.
