The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in financial institutions, possess a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and excellent analytical skills. For our Integrated Risk Management Expert vacancy, in the domain of Capital Risk Management and Stress Testing, we are looking for a new colleague at our Milan based office.

As part of the Financial Risk Framework team within Group Integrated Risk Management (CRO domain), you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our second line of responsibilities (2LOR) on Capital Risk Management and Stress Testing activities.

  • Day to day
  • Facilitate the execution of risk management activities related to capital adequacy and optimization, including providing analysis, challenge, forming risk opinions, and monitoring.
  • Critically evaluate key elements and assumptions, analyze outputs of stress testing and scenario definition to ensure robustness and relevance to DLL’s business model.
  • Enhance the internal use of stress testing in business steering and periodically identify business needs.
  • Provide expert guidance in improving the Economic Capital framework.
  • Support the execution of annual processes including ICAAP, Risk Identification and Assessment, and Risk Appetite Statement review.
  • Collaborate on projects within the capital management domain to drive strategic objectives.
  • Support regular risk reporting activities to Asset and Liability Management Committee and Global Risk Committee regarding business, liquidity, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk.
  • Manage policies related to capital and stress test frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and conducting gap analyses, while contributing to control framework design.
  • Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Analytics teams to align on initiatives and deliverables.

Measures

  • Knowledge or experience in Asset and Liability risks is an advantage to support growing requirements in the risk area.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management within financial institutions or consulting, with involvement in stress testing, capital adequacy, or economic capital frameworks.
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CRR3, Basel, SREP, ICAAP, stress testing).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of risk management practices and policies.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Located in Milan, Italy.
  • Knowledge or experience in Asset and Liability risks is a plus.
