About The Role
As the Intake Worker, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team at headspace. Your primary role will involve completing triage and duty work functions, including administering psycho-social intake assessments and providing waitlist interventions and support. You will be proficient in gathering the necessary information for comprehensive referrals, responding to duty calls, and confidently conducting risk assessments as part of the triage process. Working collaboratively with all clinical staff at headspace Onkaparinga, you will contribute to delivering high-quality services to young people.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments for the purpose of triaging into mental health programs.
- Working with youth, families, agencies and communities.
Qualification And Other Requirements
- Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology, mental health nursing, and occupational therapy. Including eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body. Social workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW. Psychologists, mental health nurses, and occupational therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.
- Drivers Licence
- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
