Main duties and responsibilities:
Assisting primary domestic and multinational life and non-life (re)insurers, Lloyd’s entities, intermediaries, banks, capital providers, regulators, and other insurance industry participants (including insurers) on insurance claims and relevant disputes and risk management issues in general. The workstream also includes a wide spectrum of advisory work for the above-mentioned clients, including with regards to the regulatory issues and the development of new insurance products.
About you:
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. However, we believe that candidates who have between 1 and 2 years’ PQE are likely to have the right level of legal knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role;
Admission to the Italian bar required;
Candidates will ideally have strong litigation and commercial insurance experience gained in a leading law firm;
Be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical issues that are key to our clients;
Draft documents using a commercial, client-focused style;
Know and understand how to best utilize information and research resources;
Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news;
Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working;
Provide a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and respond effectively to requests from internal and external clients;
Create confidence in the team and the firm;
Work co-operatively in a team, sharing information and knowledge;
Manage time effectively and efficiently;
