Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for an Instrumentation & Control Engineer.

Responsible for designing, developing, and installing equipment used to monitor and control centrifugal pumps. The role involves preparing and reviewing project documentation, material requisitions, and drawings related to monitoring instrumentation on pump skids during bidding, detailed engineering, or project execution phases.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to :

• Define standard equipment costs for the pump’s monitoring systems according to standards (API 610) and support sales with special quotations.
• Determine, in accordance with project specifications, the scope of supply for instrumentation and control systems for pump monitoring during project execution.
• Issue relevant order documentation such as P&ID, wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets, instrument lists, logic diagrams, and I/O lists.
• Prepare material requisitions in compliance with technical specifications and support the procurement department during component purchasing.
• Develop specifications and best practices for the execution and installation of electrical plants.
• Coordinate with the production department and third-party contractors involved in electrical plant activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with at least two years of experience in similar roles;

or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with field specifications and instrumentation. Proven knowledge of rotating machine monitoring instruments such as temperature probes, accelerometers, and proximity probes.

Language Skills :

Operational proficiency in Italian and English, with the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence, and effectively communicating with groups of customers or colleagues.

Computer Skills :

Familiarity with CAD systems, including AutoCAD, PLM tools, and the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of databases, design, development, spreadsheets, and word processing.
