Manager / Team Leader

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Accomplish assigned tasks, realizing on schedule and on budget all project and task requirements.
  2. Ensure sound engineering practices, compliance with national/international rules, and adherence to customer technical specifications.
  3. Design with a focus on optimizing costs, time, quality, and operability.
  4. Prioritize safety during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operation.
  5. Pay attention to details and their feasibility.
  6. Collaborate with Proposal, Sales, Operations, and Services teams to analyze problems and generate corrective actions to improve product performance.
  7. Consult with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
  8. Design, implement, and improve electrical equipment, components, products, and industrial systems.
  9. Support manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  10. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  11. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications, and safety standards.
  12. Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
  13. Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
  14. Oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
  15. Plan layout of electric power transformation, distribution lines, and stations.
  16. Assist in developing research and programs for new equipment and major repairs.
  17. Compile data and write reports on engineering studies and projects.
  18. Design electrical schemes.
  19. Support Line Manager in establishing work instructions and technical manuals, in compliance with guidelines.
  20. Provide engineering support for plant activities.
