A leading engineering services firm is looking for an Instrument & Control Engineer in the Oil & Gas domain to join its Florence team. The role involves preparing engineering deliverables and collaborating with clients and vendors. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Competenze

  • Experience of +3 years in a similar role within O&G.
  • Turbomachinery background is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.

Mansioni

  • Preparation of engineering deliverables including specifications and diagrams.
  • Attend interface meetings with clients and vendors.

INSTRUMENT & CONTROL ENGINEER - Oil & Gas Industry

Location: Florence

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of engineering deliverables including Specifications, Instrument Datasheets, Logic Diagrams etc
  • Inter-disciplinary document comments and reviews
  • Provide inputs and review of engineering drawings including Instrument Location Plans, Cable & JB Schedules, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument Installation Details, Process / Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Fieldbus Segment Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams
  • Liaison with the System Engineers
  • Attend interface meetings with Clients and Vendors to progress design scopes
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
  • Technical Diploma / BSc / MSc Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Automation Engineering;
  • We can evaluate either junior resources or senior professionals with already +3 years experience on a similar role within O&G domain;
  • Knowledge of CAD tools advantageous;
  • Learn, understand, and apply our Customer’s standard procedures;
  • A Turbomachinery background will be advantageous but not mandatory;
  • Good command of English language (i.e., B2);
