A leading automation systems provider is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to install and start-up equipment worldwide. The role requires extensive travel (over 70%) and involves performing internal testing, training customers, and diagnosing equipment issues. Ideal candidates have technical training, 5+ years of experience in industrial packaging, and strong communication skills in Italian and English.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in the industrial packaging sector.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and intermediate to advanced English.
• Ability to travel extensively (+70%).
• Full driver's license and preferably based near Parma.

Mansioni

• Install and start-up various industrial equipment at customer sites.
• Perform internal testing at the Parma location.
• Train customers on how to use their new equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve problems at customer sites.

Conoscenze

Technical training in the mechatronics industry

5+ years of relevant experience in industrial packaging

Ability to work with electrical components

Ability to work with mechanical components

Knowledge of PLCs

Your future role

You will be responsible for installing and commissioning various industrial equipment at customer sites, acting as an ambassador for Premier Tech and maintaining the company's worldwide reputation.

• Perform internal testing at our Parma location when not on customer sites
• Install and start-up equipment at customer locations
• Conduct tests to verify proper operation of the equipment
• Train customers on how to use their new equipment
• Ensure a smooth transition to our Service team after the I&C period
• Diagnose and resolve problems at customer sites

Our ideal candidate would have…

Technical training in the mechatronics industry

At least 5 years of relevant experience in the industrial packaging sector

Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components

Knowledge of PLCs (preferably Siemens) is an advantage

An independent, self-motivated attitude committed to customer satisfaction

Excellent communication skills in Italian and intermediate to advanced English skills

A passion for traveling and willingness to travel extensively (+70%)

A full driver's license and preferably based near Parma, Italy, for internal testing
