The Insights Manager Italy, within Imperial Brands' Global Insights function and reporting to the Cluster Head of Insights, is a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, working closely with the Italian Organization to ensure consumer and data-led decision making, meeting stakeholders' insight requirements.

The role will drive, in collaboration with other functions, the evaluation of:

  • Pricing Scenario
  • Impact on new Launches
  • Brand & Trade Activities ROI
  • Innovation

The successful candidate will lead the local Insights Team of 2 people, ensuring the development of appropriate skills and behaviors to deliver timely, commercially sound, actionable recommendations supported by independent consumer data.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Act as Business Partner to in-Market stakeholders and their teams, representing the voice of the consumer and customer at key decision-making forums.
  • Deliver Insights related to business planning, performance management (including strategic pricing investments), forecasting, and brand Insights, in accordance with centrally set standards and within agreed delivery timescales / SLA terms.
  • Translate business needs into robust insight requirements to shape insight project design and execution.
  • Utilize central, self-serve resources such as the global Insights Hub, best-practice toolkits, and reporting templates, developing expertise in their use.
  • Articulate how Insights contribute to Imperial Brands’ strategy, team, and market strategies, providing a clear view of consumer needs and commercial economics to aid decision making.
  • Provide actionable, commercially sound, data-driven recommendations, using independent consumer insights to guide and challenge perceptions when necessary.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Relevant Insights experience within multinational FMCG organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Insights techniques across brand, marketing, and forecasting.
  • Ability to apply innovation learnings to inform product launches.
  • Excellent communication skills to persuasively and engagingly present insights and challenge stakeholder perspectives.
  • People management skills with proven ability to coach and motivate a team of direct reports.
  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in Italian is a plus.
