Florence Bilingual School invites an Italian L2 teacher to support non-native speakers in developing language skills and confidence. The role requires delivering Italian instruction across various formats and collaborating with colleagues and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.

This is a part-time, fixed-term contract position (22%). Salary: €4,371.48 per year. Hours: 0.22 FTE.

About the Role:

As an Italian L2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping non-native-speaking students develop the language skills and confidence they need to thrive both academically and socially. You will assess students' language abilities, plan engaging and differentiated lessons, and deliver high-quality Italian language instruction through individual, small-group and classroom teaching. Working closely with the Inclusion and Italian L2 Coordinator, class teachers and families, you will support students' integration into school life while fostering a welcoming, inclusive and culturally aware learning environment. You will monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, adapt teaching resources to meet individual needs, and contribute to students' overall wellbeing and success.
