Ambrit International School is seeking an enthusiastic MYP Maths Teacher to join our Middle Years Programme (MYP) team in Rome. You will inspire students aged 11-14 with concept-based maths aligned to the IB framework.

The role emphasizes inquiry-based learning, differentiation, and a collaborative approach to planning with a focus on student well-being and ongoing professional development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification/certification.
• At least 3 years' experience teaching Mathematics to upper primary or middle school students.
• Thorough knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and its assessment principles.

Aufgaben

• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging MYP math lessons using IB MYP framework.
• Assessment & Feedback: Design summative and formative assessments; provide timely feedback.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate on interdisciplinary units across subjects.
• Pastoral Care & Guidance: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Professional Development: Engage in IB-related professional learning to improve teaching.
