EFI is looking for an Ink Sales Development Manager to join our sales team in Italy. Although based in Italy, this role involves frequent travel across Europe, theUS, and South American countries.

The Sales Development Manager reports to the Sales Director from Italy, and this role is part of theReggiani textile business unit team.

The EFI ink for textiles ensures an extraordinary level of print durability, longer life of printheads, and reduced maintenance costs. Reggiani inks are well-known in the printing textile market and appreciated by our customers around the world.

We are currently seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about pursuing international sales opportunities in the textile ink sector and who is willing to travel abroad for the majority of their time.

What you will do :

  • Manage all full-cycle sales activities within theassigned territory, including client development, sales of emerging products, multi-product sales, onsite customer presentations, and sales campaigns.
  • Generate new account sales and growth to theexisting account base to achieve revenue targets within operating budgets.
  • Develop specific regional plans to ensure revenue growth in all EFI’s textile inks products.
  • Communicate regularly through personal visits, telephone calls, etc., with key contacts; field traveling is a must (70%).
  • Attend all assigned trade shows, open houses, and other ink-related EFI events.
  • Provide timely and accurate territory reporting, forecasting to sales management utilizing Salesforce.com.
  • Provide regular feedback to marketing, engineering, and manufacturing regarding EFI / Inkjet textile products.
  • Leverage EFI resources and capabilities inside Marketing and Engineering towards the achievement of goals.
  • Establish and build relationships with EFI sales and technical support.

What experience and skills you should bring to this role :

  • 1-3 years of product sales experience.
  • Field sales experience in the ink textile industry is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage the accounts at a high level within the assigned regions.
  • Must have excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting / exceeding both individual and team sales quota / goals.
  • Expertise in complete sales cycle management – prospect identification, qualification, proposal, and close.
  • Ability to handle complex technical sales cycles.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Spanish and Portuguese verbal and written communication skills are a plus.
  • Good understanding of textile pricing practices and selling skills.
  • Good understanding of customer digital printing operations and digital product knowledge is preferred.
