Una leading company nel settore fotovoltaico cerca un Project Engineer per supportare lo sviluppo e l'esecuzione di progetti di tracker solari. Il candidato ideale avrà una laurea in ingegneria, con esperienza nel settore delle energie rinnovabili e competenze solide in software di progettazione. Verrà richiesta la capacità di lavorare in team e di gestire più compiti in un ambiente dinamico.

Competenze

  • 1-3 anni di esperienza in ingegneria di progetto o ruoli simili.
  • Conoscenza di software di progettazione 3D.
  • Disponibilità a viaggiare occasionalmente.

Mansioni

  • Fornire supporto ingegneristico durante il ciclo di vita del progetto.

Descrizione del lavoro

Valmont Solar | Convert Italia SpA , a leading company in the photovoltaic industry worldwide, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the development, coordination, and execution of solar tracker projects across global markets. You will work closely with the Technical, Sales, and Project Management teams to ensure high-quality project delivery — from design validation through to installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal phase to final commissioning.
  • Analyze site-specific conditions and adapt tracker layouts and configurations accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, R&D, and Manufacturing) to ensure technical feasibility and client alignment.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation including technical drawings, BOMs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Support construction and field service teams by providing documentation, clarifications, and on-site technical assistance when needed.
  • Identify risks and propose corrective actions during engineering design reviews.
  • Assist in cost optimization and technical solution standardization across projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Energy or Construction Engineering (or similar technical field).
  • 1-3 years’ experience in project engineering or a similar role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Familiarity with photovoltaic systems, single-axis trackers, or solar field design.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D design software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or support during project execution.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and structured approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
