A leading innovation firm in Bari is seeking a System Engineer specializing in electrical components. The successful candidate will coordinate projects in the railway sector, interact with stakeholders, and manage technical tasks. A BSc/MSc in Engineering and fluency in both English and Italian are required. Experience in the railway industry is preferred, and travel for business may be necessary.

Job Location: Bari, Italy

Responsibilities

• The engineer will be part of the engineering project team in the role of project coordination, will oversee and coordinate the team in order to help different teams to communicate and he/she will track timing, open issue in order to fullfill project targets (technical and timing) for ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS in Railway sector
• He/She will take technical interface with the internal and external stakeholders.
• The engineer will be involved in the scheduling and budgeting activities related to the project, with the support of the project management team.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc Degree in Engineering;
• Knowledge of the electric/electronic/mechatronich design and engineering procecces
• Ability to review engineering deliverables and act appropriate corrective actions;
• Ability to schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering project;
• Ability to interact daily with the internal and external stakeholder in order to understand their needs and requirements;
• Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager, other project stakeholders and all levels of the organisation;
• Availability to travel for short-term national and/or international business trips;
• Fluency level of English (at least C1 Level)
• Fluency in Italian language;

Experience in the role and in the railway industry will be considered a plus.
