Job Description:

We are looking for a Validation Engineer with hands-on experience in automotive and in particular in Infotainment projects.

Activities and responsibilities:

• You will work in international automotive projects providing electronic automotive validation focused on ECU validation for luxury brands; in particular, your mission is to:
• Participate in the solution design process next to the development teams;
• Analyze system requirements and also integrate them;
• Develop and plan test scenarios to validate the requirements;
• Test, and maintain the implemented solutions to verify system requirements;
• Validate with on-road testing the infotainment features developed with a particular focus on the final customer User Experience

You should feel comfortable working in teams and be good at analysis and problem-solving. Occasional business trips may be required based on project needs.

Skills:

• University (BSc or MSc) degree in Electronic, Computer Science, Mechatronic or Automotive Engineering or similar background
• Electronic competencies regarding: electronic architecture for automotive technology, CAN, and LIN networks.
• Vector Tools knowledge (CANoe, CANalyzer).
• Logging tools such as BluePirat
• Experience in Infotainments and other ECU validation
• Knowledge of Testing and Validation processes for automotive systems (from Requirements Analysis to Defects management)
• Good English

Other useful skills we look for:

• Competence regarding SW development (Unix, Linux, in particular bash/shell scripting, java, python, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in handling vehicles
• Knowledge of mechanical parts of a vehicle
