Job Description: IT Trainee JW Venice Resort and Spa

The candidate must be enrolled in a University or School program to be eligible for this internship. At the time of the final interview, the candidate must provide a permit allowing them to perform an internship in Europe or hold a European passport. A good level of English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus. This internship lasts for 6 to 12 months.

Responsibilities include maintaining hardware and software inventory, troubleshooting and repairing technical problems related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet. Respond to program error messages, provide network support, and consult with vendors or technicians for major issues. Analyze and implement process improvements, assess computing needs, and perform system diagnostics. Plan and coordinate IT equipment installations, moves, and upgrades. Provide end-user support for MS Office, Opera, and EMC applications. Maintain documentation of system updates and patches. Follow company policies, ensure confidentiality, and protect assets. Address guest service needs, support team members, and communicate professionally. Develop positive relationships, support organizational goals, and adhere to quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
