Information Technology Services Specialist, Vicenza

Vicenza, Italy

Manens S.p.A., a consulting company in engineering and architecture with over 50 years of experience in project management for the civil sector, is seeking an IT – Service Specialist for its office in Padova.

The professional, within the IT team, will be responsible for first-level support to users and resolving related issues. Responsibilities include installing and configuring operating systems, restoring basic workstation functionalities via remote control, replacing faulty components, and connecting network systems.

1. Deep knowledge of computer hardware architectures and networks;
2. Thorough understanding of device behaviors;
3. Ability to design and implement software solutions for complex or large-scale IT systems;
4. In-depth knowledge of system performance and security issues;
5. Proficiency with systems/platforms such as Windows Server, Cloud Azure, Active Directory, Linux (RedHat / Ubuntu) server, Veeam, VM-Ware, and email systems (e.g., Exchange);
6. Experience with system scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell and LinuxShell);
7. Knowledge of cybersecurity methods and technologies;
8. Experience in configuring antivirus (e.g., Sophos) and perimeter defense systems (e.g., FortiNet);
9. Preferably, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science;
10. Good command of the English language;
11. Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and results-oriented skills.

Work location: Padova.

Contract type: To be defined based on the candidate's experience.
