JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Job Function
As an Informatics Software Engineer, you will contribute to building the next release of product features and system design. This role involves working on both front-end user experience and robust platform services. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills is essential.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs, design, and develop software work products.
• Create and maintain documentation for SDLC artifacts.
• Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications.
• Ensure continuous improvement of informatics applications.
• Ensure compliance with the ADD Informatics Quality system.
• Plan, execute, and track projects.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Position Accountability/Scope

• Design and develop informatics products in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist with the design and implementation of features.
• Operate in Scrum-based development teams.
• Interact with project managers, product owners, and R&D leadership.
• Work as part of cross-functional teams.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a startup or mid- to large-sized corporation.
• Experience with Embarcadero Delphi.
• Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred).
• Understanding of OOP and contemporary design patterns.
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and functional testing, source control (Git preferred), and good software engineering practices.
• Experience in healthcare or life sciences applications is a plus.
• Additional experience with Python, RESTful APIs, containerized applications, AWS, Unix/Linux, mobile development, distributed systems, networking, large software systems, and security software development is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

WORK ARRANGEMENT: 4 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE OFFICE
