Teads is looking for an Industry Director, Automotive to join our growing Strategic Accounts team in Milan. You will be responsible for forging partnerships and driving incremental revenue growth on key accounts.

This role offers the opportunity to join an industry pioneer and leader in full funnel advertising solutions, and one that is experiencing rapid global growth. The Automotive vertical is a critical growth lever, and the Industry Director will develop existing and new relationships with the largest Automotive clients.

Our advertising solutions are bought by many of the world’s largest advertisers, including automotive brands and others.

The Industry Director will also work closely with the Agency Sales team to manage senior-level agency relationships.

Reporting into the Director of Strategic Accounts, this person will be a key part of the senior team developing the #advertiserfirst strategy in the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and scale collaborative relationships with top Automotive businesses in the region.
2. Be the expert on these Automotive businesses to deliver solutions that best fit advertiser needs.
3. Ensure Teads is front of mind with local clients and part of their core media mix; build relations across all key functions, ensure stakeholders understand our proposition, and develop local/regional or global partnerships.
4. Maximise client media investments by working with the sales team to deliver results; ensure Teads is included in all core media plans, activation budgets, big events, seasonal opportunities, and new innovations.
5. Share learnings with global industry directors and peers in other markets.

In addition, you will:

1. Serve as an industry expert to drive vertical and client success by developing thought leadership.
2. Create and deliver consultative sales presentations based on industry knowledge, market trends, and Teads’ full funnel solutions.
3. Drive external and internal market knowledge and insights.
4. Engage proactively with industry committees and conferences.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding and background in Automotive.
2. Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision-makers.
3. Good level of English.
4. Proven experience in building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Knowledge of online video, display, and performance advertising.
7. Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues.
8. Ability to convert business from other media channels.
