We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team. As an Area Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving business growth and development within your allocated territory.

Your primary responsibilities will include generating new business leads, nurturing existing customer relationships, and closing deals to meet sales targets.

You will be responsible for :

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and industry events
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Providing technical support and solutions to customers, including product demonstrations and presentations
  • Negotiating and closing service and product agreements
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and pipeline performance

In addition to your sales skills, you will also be responsible for contributing to the development of business plans, identifying market trends, and staying up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • A solid technical background with experience in industrial equipment or a related field
  • Proven sales engineering or commercial experience, preferably in the ports and maritime industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required
  • A degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
