Industrial Projects Ops/CS Specialist

DHL Global Forwarding Italy is looking for the following position:

n. 1 Industrial Projects Ops/CS Specialist
Location: Pozzuolo Martesana (MI)
Reports to: Industrial Projects OPS/CS Manager

Key tasks

1. Execute Industrial Projects plans and processes to provide air, sea and road freight forwarding for internal and external customers in accordance with customers' requirements to grant operational excellence and high customer service level.
2. Gather guidelines from internal functions and receive, execute and update orders via the system.
3. Ascertain domestic and/or international freight rate on ingoing/outgoing materials and products based on analysis of tariff rates, freight classifications, delivery schedules and deadlines.
4. Process, handle, distribute and archive all required import/export documents, verify invoices and shipping documents to enhance accordance with Incoterms and CDZ guidelines.
5. Comply with operating standards and procedures to provide superior customer service, granting operational excellence.
6. Coordinate with overseas office to check and verify shipment information.
7. Achieve accurate and timely delivery of billing information to customers.
8. Verify and input estimated costs, validate and approve accounts payables.
9. Check bill discrepancies such as incorrect rates, charges, etc.
10. Verify entries to ensure customer requirements are met and suggest routine corrective actions in case of deviations.
11. Collaborate with Warehouse, Cartage, ICC and customs brokers to resolve issues, ensure service quality and timeliness.
12. Handle customers' complaints and operations irregularities and report them within the related tools.

Requirements

1. Good knowledge of OFR/AFR Ops/Cs.
2. Excellent analytical skills.
3. Strategic vision and attention to details.
4. Strong problem-solving attitude.
5. Excellent knowledge of English.
6. Capability to recognize threats and opportunities introducing best practices focusing on delivering continuous improvement and enhanced productivity.
7. Availability to travel will be considered a plus.
