McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Italy is seeking an early-career engineer to support the design, installation and start-up of plant equipment, systems and infrastructure. You will work under senior engineers to develop technical solutions aligned with safety, quality and production goals, contributing to site improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

Engineering degree in mechanical, chemical, industrial or process engineering.
Few years in engineering, project engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial operations.
Interest in developing project management skills in manufacturing.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, utilities and industrial equipment.
Familiarity with safety principles and industrial safety standards (ATEX where applicable).
Understanding of capital project phases: feasibility, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, handover.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, P&IDs or equipment documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on mindset.
Good communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Proactive, eager to learn and able to manage multiple tasks with appropriate supervision.

Mansioni

Support engineering across design, procurement, installation, commissioning and start-up of equipment.
Contribute to technical solutions aligned with safety, quality, production and ergonomics.
Contribute to operational and continuous improvement activities across the site.
Assist in defining technical specifications with stakeholders and external partners.
Assist in preparing project budgets and cost estimates within approved spending limits.
Support preparation of CAAPs following best practice procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal/external stakeholders during project execution.
Support FAT and SAT activities and document performance against requirements.
Coordinate with inspection bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Plan and coordinate training for factory users and maintenance teams.
Monitor ramp-up of new installations and troubleshoot until target performance.
Participate in optimizing existing equipment and contribute to site improvements.
Develop working relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
