A global manufacturing company in Parma is seeking a qualified engineer to develop tools and oversee equipment production. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering, strong leadership skills, and expertise in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting production, creating work instructions, and ensuring project targets are met. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.

Competenze

• Master Degree in Engineering (mechanical and Industrial Engineering) or similar.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodology is an advantage.

Your opportunity

From Design phase (PDP) and through the manufacturing life of equipment, develop and provide relevant tools, recommendation and information in order to supply, manufacture, test and install the product at the right safety, quality, cost and Lead Time levels. Support production to ensure achievement of customer project targets and implementation of preventive actions.

Your Mission

• Follow the launch of a new equipment / deal in production from KOM (kick-off meeting) to FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
• Create the standard work, working instruction and master routing based on the configuration map.
• Be part of the team for Assembly activities with baseline configuration and routing definition.
• Design tools and jigs needed to assemble, manufacture and test components to commit in quality, cost and Lead Time requirements.
• Participate to the design review with Engineering and sourcing team.
• Participate to the qualification of the module on the manufacturing activities.
• Participate to the continuous improvement of production activities linked to Electrical wiring, applying lean and 6 sigma principles.
• Support production team to ensure the achievement of customer project target.
• Propose corrective and preventive action in coordination with production.
• Define the master production data (Routing, sequence, hours ….).
• Support of the analysis of the manpower hours on all activities per deals.
• Apply Lean&Six Sigma best practice to analyze data, investigate root cause for production processes variability, plan and execute actions involving inter-functional team.
• Lead year over year cycle time reductions.
• Work with internal and external team, leading objectives and deadline.

Your Profile

Education

• Master Degree in Engineering (mechanical and Industrial Engineering) or similar,

Computer Skills

• Proficient in MS Office
• SAP knowledge is a plus

Language Requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• French is a plus

• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodology is an advantage.
• Leadership and communication skills be able to communicate effectively at all levels, and with all functions.
