A manufacturing company in Italy is seeking an experienced professional to manage the product industrialization phase. Responsibilities include overseeing mold production, conducting testing, and preparing technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, relevant experience in plastic molding, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD SolidWorks.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering disciplines or project management.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in plastic molding.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
• Good knowledge of CAD SolidWorks application.
• Proven ability in project and order management.
• Ability to manage project teams.
• Ability to manage stress and work with deadlines.
• Intermediate level knowledge of English (reading and writing skills).
• Knowledge of injection molds, resins, and thermoplastic elastomers.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and FAT/SAT procedures.
• Knowledge of quality tools, in particular: Ishikawa diagram, Poka-yoke, process capability analysis Cp/Cpk, Pareto, X-R/S control charts.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The role manages the product industrialization phase, planning activities for the creation of new products and the optimization of existing projects, including cost reduction activities.
Defines individual project objectives and ensures the quality of work performed at each stage of the design cycle.
Interacts with customers and suppliers from a technical and development perspective.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control of correct mold production or modifications during processing at external workshops
• Management of dimensional and functional testing protocols to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Preparation of all technical documentation for economic evaluations and for drafting the bill of materials
• Mechanical design and simulation: includes mechanical calculations, various simulations, prototype testing and drawing execution, planning, collection and analysis of test results, FMEA cost analysis.
• Technical support for sales, production, quality
