The Technical Sales role maximizes sales opportunities while developing long-term relationships within an assigned portfolio of accounts (prospects and clients), which may span different geographical areas.
This is a full sales role that requires technical skills, not just traditional pre-sales activities.
The role involves persuading customers, exceeding sales targets, administrative tasks, sales activity tracking, report writing, contract negotiations, and occasional marketing support. Providing technical support post-purchase may also be required.
The main objective of the Technical Sales is to generate new business from existing customers and prospects, as well as cross-sell and up-sell to achieve and surpass sales targets.
It involves creating, maintaining, and growing relationships through visits, virtual meetings, and workshops to demonstrate how the company's products benefit customers and solve their problems.
The role focuses on customer satisfaction, market trend feedback, and supporting marketing and sales campaigns.
