Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Solicitor / Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims (typically via small claims procedure) to lead in-court collections or to open their own boutique legal firm in Italy. Pre-court collections are managed by a team of paralegals. You will be responsible for filing court cases to recover compensation and Out-of-Pocket Expenses (OPE) incurred by passengers, including ticket refunds. AirAdvisor currently handles EU261 / UK261 claims for delays, cancellations, and denied boarding, with baggage claims launching soon.

If the law or judge's decision is unfair, we may consider legal advocacy or PR opportunities to raise awareness. This role is ideal for high performers with strong litigation experience and a passion for consumer rights in the airline industry.

The candidate must be free from conflicts of interest and able to litigate against different airlines.

Requirements

• A valid lawyer’s / solicitor’s license and legal insurance.
• A law degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience with small claims, consumer rights, or aviation law is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of relevant consumer protection laws and aviation regulations is a plus but not required.
• Proven track record in successful in-court collection.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal strategy skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize, meet deadlines, and track statutes of limitations.
• Experience with automating claims management processes.
