Une entreprise de premier plan recherche un IP Counsel pour gérer les questions de propriété intellectuelle au sein de l'industrie des dispositifs médicaux. Ce rôle stratégique implique la gestion de litiges complexes et l'élaboration de stratégies de dépôt de brevets pour protéger des innovations clés. Le candidat idéal devra avoir une expérience substantielle en litige IP et une connaissance approfondie de la législation européenne des brevets.

Competenze

  • Expérience de 8-10 ans en litiges IP dans l'industrie des dispositifs médicaux.
  • Connaissance approfondie des procédures de l'EPO et du UPC.
  • Maîtrise de l'italien ou de l'allemand; espagnol ou français un plus.

Mansioni

  • Diriger et gérer des stratégies de litige IP à travers plusieurs juridictions.
  • Collaborer avec des avocats externes et des parties prenantes internes.
  • Surveiller les activités des concurrents et élaborer des contre-stratégies.

Descrizione del lavoro

We are seeking an experienced IP Counsel to lead all intellectual property matters across our Medical Device client European operations. This strategic role includes managing complex IP litigation, shaping IP strategy, and ensuring cross-border compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage IP litigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure robust litigation outcomes.
  • Monitor competitor activities and devise counter-strategies to mitigate IP risks.
  • Work closely with senior management, R&D, legal, and business development teams to align IP strategies with business goals.
  • Formulate and implement effective patent filing strategies to protect key innovations

Key Requirements :

  • 8-10 years of experience in IP litigation and patent strategy in the medical devices industry
  • In-depth knowledge of European patent law, the European Patent Office (EPO) procedures, and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
  • Proven experience in handling multinational IP litigation and oppositions.
  • Must speak either Italian or German (priority) - Spanish or French would be a plus
