Il candidato ideale avrà una solida conoscenza della logistica internazionale, delle normative doganali e esperienza nel settore dei materiali da costruzione. Questo ruolo è fondamentale per garantire una catena di approvvigionamento efficace e conforme.

Competenze

  • Almeno 2 anni di esperienza in import/export o logistica internazionale.
  • Conoscenza delle normative doganali statunitensi e dei documenti di spedizione.
  • Fluente in italiano e inglese.

We are the ideal partner for architects, engineers and construction companies to realize their ideas and dreams. Beside of Head Quarters in Italy, there are production and logistics units in Miami, Spain, Turkey, China, India and South-East Asia, in order to ensure the best services to our clients in all five continents.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Import Manager to oversee the full import cycle of porcelain tiles from global suppliers to our warehouses. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant flow of goods from international sources, particularly from key markets such as India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and China. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of international shipping logistics, import regulations, and strong experience working in the building materials or tile industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the end-to-end import process for goods arriving from international suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all customs, import / export, and trade regulations (e.G., HTS codes, Incoterms, duty rates, etc.).
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor and track incoming shipments, resolve delays, and communicate status updates to relevant teams.
  • Negotiate freight rates, service agreements, and contracts with logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and compliance-related materials.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and finance departments to align import logistics with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in trade policies, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in import / export or international logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and international shipping documentation (e.G., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
  • Experience with freight and customs brokerage coordination.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred :

Working knowledge of Incoterms, freight negotiations, and port operations, Experience with import compliance audits and trade documentation.

  • Fluent in Italian and English – required for all documentation, customs communication, and internal coordination. Proficiency in any other languages is a strong plus
