ICT Education and Training Expert

Sapienza Consulting is recruiting three Training Experts who will act as Education and Training Experts to teach at NATO - NCISS at Latina, Italy.

Responsibilities:

• To provide support to the NCISS in the field of technical training for Oracle DBA, System Administration and Networks engineering.

• Fluent in English (both written and oral).
• NATO Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
• Ability to work in the EU.
• Experience in conduction of technical training courses, ideally in Database Administration.
• Working experience with Oracle Databases.
• Working experience with Oracle Recovery Manager.
• Working experience with the administration of Microsoft SQL Server databases and SQL Server Replication.
• Working experience with administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services and web services.
• Experience with the deployment, configuration and administration of a vSphere environment.
• System administration experience.
• Working experience with Windows Server administration, network administration and virtualization, TCP/IP, switch administration, VLANs and firewalling, storage administration, LUN masking, iSCSI and NFS storage providers.

• Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and design of complex distributed applications.
• Working knowledge of VMware clusters, vMotion, High Availability, Distributed Resource.
• Working knowledge of ESXi administration, vCenter Server and Platform Service Controller.
• Experience of Setting up Oracle Databases using Automated Storage Management.
• Experience with ArcGIS for Server, Portal for ArcGIS installation and configuration.
• Knowledge of the TOPFAS architecture, installation procedures and troubleshooting.
• Experience with supporting NATO FAS in operational or exercise environment.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Working experience with SSL Certificates, PKI services.
• Knowledge of the Core GIS CCP documentation, architecture and variants, installation procedures and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the Core GIS Concept of Operations and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Experience with fiber channel Storage Area, Desktop Virtualization, VSAN and NSX technologies.
• Experience with the management of backup and restore procedures of virtual infrastructure.

• Oracle Database Administrator or similar education with basic concepts of databases, the role of a DBA and the common SQL statements used by the database administrator.
• Oracle DBA Certified Professional or similar education with fundamental knowledge required to independently maintain and support an Oracle single instance database.
• TOPFAS SysAdmin Course or similar education with fundamental knowledge required to install, troubleshoot and maintain a TOPFAS instance.
• Core GIS Servers or similar education with fundamental knowledge required to independently deploy and support the Core GIS server environment.
• Datacentre Virtualization Course or similar education with the fundamental knowledge required to setup and maintain a virtualised IT infrastructure environment.
