ICT Business Partner - SAP Production and Production Planning

For our client, a long-established international leader in the food industry. We are looking for a:

Objective of the role

The candidate, reporting directly to the Application Manager, will act as a Business Partner for SAP services related to Production, Production Planning, and Quality Management. Responsibilities include planning and executing projects, analyzing and supporting processes, and guiding service, incident, and problem management in these areas. The role also involves managing all core applications operating in the plant.

Key responsibilities
  • Understanding end-to-end business processes such as production, co-packing/co-manufacturing, supply chain, production scheduling, and quality management.
  • Leading projects and system enhancements, coordinating the implementation of new functions and features.
  • Coordinating with global teams, internal teams, business users, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on tasks, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitoring work progress, identifying risks and issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, understanding their business needs, and providing value-added solutions.
  • Communicating regularly with stakeholders and internal teams to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Leading requirements definition and translating requirements into functional documentation.
  • Supporting testing processes (unit and integration testing).
  • Supporting Process Owners and Key Users in change management.
  • Providing strategic support and roadmap planning for the business.
Qualifications and competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience or two full implementation cycles in S/4 HANA modules listed below (or ECC equivalent):

- S/4 HANA Manufacturing and IBP or ECC Equivalent

- S/4 HANA Quality Management or ECC Equivalent

  • Understanding the interaction of production, supply chain, and quality management processes with other business processes, applications, and SAP modules (mainly IBP, FICO, SD, and MM).
  • Experience with integrations such as MES, SAP EWM, etc.
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering value.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
