Hyundai Genesis General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee all dealership operations, including new and pre-owned vehicle sales, service, parts, and finance, ensuring alignment with Hyundai and Genesis brand standards and business objectives
• Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor department managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity
• Customer Experience: Champion a differentiated, luxury customer journey, implementing innovative sales and service programs unique to the Genesis and Hyundai brands
• Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators, and drive profitability across all departments
• Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with all manufacturer, legal, and regulatory requirements; maintain facility standards; and optimize processes for maximum efficiency and quality
• Market Growth: Execute targeted marketing and business development strategies to build brand presence and capture market share in the competitive Mountain View area
• Community Engagement: Represent the dealership in the local community and cultivate positive relationships with customers, partners, and Hyundai/Genesis corporate teams
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in an automotive dealership, preferably with luxury or premium brands
• Deep understanding of dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance
• Demonstrated ability to launch or rebrand a dealership or business unit is highly desirable
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at both the tactical and visionary levels
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred
