Hydraulic Engineer within Hydraulic components simulations
This is an opportunity to join a prestigious company in the field of hydraulic component manufacturing that has a global reach. This role will allow you to be a key player in developing our high-performance hydraulic components, utilizing your expertise in fluid systems and simulation to optimize designs and ensure flawless functionality.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement accurate hydraulic component simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, CFX) specifically tailored for our components (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.)
* Analyze simulation results to predict component performance, identify potential pressure drops, efficiency losses, and optimize design parameters.
* Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure components meet performance targets, exceed industry standards, and are manufacturable.
* Create and maintain simulation libraries for various component types to streamline future development processes.
* Stay current with advancements in hydraulic simulation technology and explore its application to improve existing components.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Fluid Power Engineering)
* Minimum of 3 years experience in the design or simulation of hydraulic components
* In-depth understanding of hydraulic component functionality (pumps, valves, cylinders) and their impact on system performance
* Proven experience using hydraulic simulation software specific to component design (e.g., AVL LIST Hydromotion)
* Mastery of fluid mechanics principles with a focus on internal flow analysis
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to achieving optimal efficiency.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
