The Role

This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in the company’s continued success. You’ll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of pumps, from design conception to prototype creation and ultimately, series production. Your duties will encompass :

  • Developing new pumps with a focus on hydraulics.
  • Optimizing and refining existing pump models.
  • Building and maintaining a comprehensive product database.
  • Providing technical support to international representatives, purchasing, and production teams.
  • Planning and conducting prototype testing.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, and participating in employee training.

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree (MSc) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH / FH, with a specialization in fluid dynamics, fluid mechanics, or process engineering.
  • Several years of professional experience working with turbomachinery, ideally with centrifugal pumps, turbines, turbo compressors, or wind turbines.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.
  • Experience with CFD software, particularly Ansys CFX, is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in German and English, with strong business communication skills in both languages.
  • A highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient personality.
