ABB in Italy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the RCBO platform development from concept to validation. You will design electromechanical solutions, create 3D CAD models, perform simulations, and support prototyping and testing with cross-functional teams.

You will work in a hybrid model in Vittuone (Milan), collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, Testing, Manufacturing and Quality groups to deliver innovative, reliable protection devices.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in mechanical design principles and product development processes.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD design tools (CATIA V5 and/or Creo) appreciated.

Mansioni

• Contribute to development and evolution of ABB's RCBO platform from concept through validation.
• Design electromechanical solutions, perform 3D CAD modeling, simulation, prototyping and testing.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies and technical documentation (CATIA V5, Creo).
• Run engineering studies and simulations to optimize performance and manufacturability.
• Support prototype assembly, lab testing and validation with cross-functional teams.
• Explore AI-powered tools to improve development processes and productivity.
