Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a Legal & Compliance Business Partner for the Italian market based in Rome with a hybrid work model. You will provide pragmatic legal advice and help implement global compliance programs, partnering with local leadership and Global Legal, IPR and Compliance colleagues.

You will handle contracts, regulatory compliance, privacy, competition law, disputes and internal investigations while supporting a risk-informed approach to business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience from private law firm and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Law degree with strong regulatory/compliance focus.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as a legal and compliance business partner and trusted advisor.
• Participate in the local affiliate leadership team and contribute strategic legal and compliance perspectives.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, providing strategic and legal advice.
• Monitor local compliance regulations, assess impact and co-drive solutions for risks/opportunities.
• Advise on anti-bribery, anti-corruption and third-party compliance management.
• Provide advice on privacy and competition law matters; support disputes and investigations.
• Build relationships across the business to strengthen understanding of legal requirements.
• Support internal investigations in the market as needed.
