Job summary

AMIGO Srl, the first Italian SME in climate services, seeks an AI/Machine-Learning Specialist in Rovereto, Italy. You will build AI/ML models, design algorithms and work with geo-spatial data across multiple sectors, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an MSc in a quantitative field with 3+ years in AI/ML, and has hands-on experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn and Keras, plus Python, Xarray, and GeoPandas.

Qualifications

• MSc in a quantitative discipline; PhD is a plus.
• 3+ years in AI/ML roles or equivalent.
• Experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn and Keras.
• Proficiency in Python with Xarray and GeoPandas.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Professional English (C1) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI/ML algorithms.
• Conduct data analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Document models, processes and workflows for transparency.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Participate in short business trips domestically and internationally.
