Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Cable Jointer to join our Milan office and onshore/offshore sites. The role involves safe execution of underground HV work up to 400kV, leading a crew, and conducting pre-job briefings.

Travel is required, with opportunities for professional growth within a global energy and telecom solutions leader. We offer a fixed-term contract for 6 months with potential renewal, a minimum gross salary of €24,000, and benefits including meal vouchers, training, and travel expenses

Qualifications

• Technical studies
• Driving License
• English knowledge (basic)
• Previous experiences in jointing activities (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized underground work.
• Lead crew and represent the Company in absence of the Foreman.
• Conduct pre-job briefings.
• Possess knowledge of underground distribution.
• Work with energized high voltage systems up to 400kV with safety focus.
• Operate and maintain company equipment.
• Inspect crew work and ensure quality.
• Splice and terminate HV/EHV cables with low failure rates.
• Assist or supervise HV/EHV cable pulling, testing or supervision.
