As an HR Manager at Splendido, a Belmond Hotel, you’ll lead a team that drives extraordinary results behind the scenes to ensure our employees enjoy memorable moments just as much as our guests. Your role encompasses human resources strategy, recruitment, learning and development, contributing to an outstanding company culture that translates into exquisite guest experiences. Primary Responsibilities Include:

1. Develop HR strategy by identifying human resource needs, anticipating future requirements, and creating effective policies at Splendido, considering the hotel's seasonal staffing demands.
2. Recruit and select top-tier candidates for all hotel positions, making recommendations for hiring decisions and implementing proactive recruitment strategies for peak seasons.
3. Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Manage performance, employee relations, and engagement through conflict management, open communication, and team-building initiatives.
5. Collaborate with the Divisional HR team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and initiatives.
6. Manage and report on HR metrics and activities using Belmond and LVMH systems, providing accurate data for decision-making.

Requirements

You are an experienced HR Manager with a background in the hospitality industry.

What You Bring:

• At least 6 years of professional experience in HR roles.
• Experience in hospitality at a managerial level.
• Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR management.
• Experience in creating and leading employee development and training programs.
• Preferred experience with Zucchetti payroll systems.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
