This pivotal role involves guiding HR strategies for approximately 250 employees, fostering a culture of engagement, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR leadership experience in global manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of HR policies.

Our client is a leading manufacturing company, specializing in the production of components, part of a major Multinational Group operating worldwide.

Location : Bologna area

Role

The Human Resources Manager is a critical member of the leadership team, with responsibility for approximately 250 employees. This position, reporting to the Corporate Business Unit’s HR organization, implements HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices, and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor to identify and prioritize HR initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, while acting as a thought leader to both the business and HR and holding budgetary responsibility;
  • Acting as a trusted coach, providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, training and organization development;
  • Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management;
  • Leading a team of 4 professionals with responsibility for all learning and people development initiatives (including driving cultural initiatives for the company and internal communications), payroll, employee relationship and administration, government regulations, etc.;
  • Aligning HR policies and programs for business unit or region, to promote employee engagement, retention and performance;
  • Collaborating effectively with other Corporate Centers of Excellence to develop special projects or manage special concerns;
  • Managing Union Relationships, Negotiations and Compliance (legal, corporate policy & procedures);
  • Acting as Legal representative for the company on HR processes and as Leader for plant security policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • University education;
  • Almost 10 years of progressive HR leadership responsibility in global manufacturing multinational companies;
  • Business acumen and negotiation ability, global perspective, decision making and critical thinking;
  • Solid experience in working with union organizations and good knowledge of main HR management systems;
